I think it's a goofy idea.
Mating 25 to 55 could be done, but why "waste" new 55G tower sections using it
as a 160M vertical? For roughly the cost of 3 good used sections of 55G (say
$375-400) you should be able to locate 10 x 25G sections which would give you
enough for a 130 foot vertical.
You can then use the 100 feet of 55G for other bands, or sell it and recoup the
cost of putting up the 160M vert if that is the only band of interest.
