Hi Rick,
Exactly my point, you need more resolution than the 10 db.
Not to start another argument but I also have a 141 it is a 141A but has
I presume the same IF unit, the 8552a. It does not have a 1 or 2 db
scale selection like more modern analyzers. Only linear or the standard
log scale which is 10 db per division.
Does your 141 have 1 db scale selection?
I agree range effects will probably outweigh analyzer errors but
analyzer errors in this case will not be small either.
