Considering how many of these antennas that got sold I
wouldn't be so down on them....

If the antenna had been PROPERLY tested ON THE GROUND
with the 400 ft of control line, this
would not have had to be a tower removal project
( and maybe it had and I missed that thread message )

You can buy a IC-7800 etc for $12 grand and still get
ONE with a problem, I don't think this reflects a big
problem with SteppIR in general and you may be throwing
out the baby with the bath water
