I don't plan on using a choke balun.  What I'm planning on winding is a 
1:1 balun where both sides of the antenna are at aDC ground although I 
may put a choke back near the remote antenna switch.

I've found the voltage gets high enough apparently due to SWR that it  
arcs and that can be a problem.
