Looking around the typical hamfest, and figuring at least some of those
guys you see waddling around are going to cimb a tower on occasion, this
becomes a scary thought. :)
The standard pole climbing joke when I worked for Ma Bell was the pain
from a pole fall was considered inconsequential compared to the pain of
crawling all the way to the truck and back to retrieve the hard hat you
were supposed to be wearing before the first line supervisor arrived to
do his "accident investigation".
