This makes me wonder what the voltages are when running at the band
edges with an SWR of maybe 6 or 8:1. I don't remember what it actually
is, but I do know I had to be careful where I put resonance (by
adjusting the length) or my 989C antenna tuner would arc inside when
only running about 1200 watts or so. I've since replaced it with a
Palstar AT5K. Now supposed I'm running merrily along at the legal limit
at the high end of the band with a 6:1 SWR. I wonder what the voltage is
at the feed point and along the coax back to the AT5K. Then I end up
with a great big and loud sneeze.
