Well, I used the "sight through the tower" approach.  Of course, this was 
compromised somewhat when the backhoe for one of the guy anchors broke 
through the septic drain field.  That anchor is more or less on the same 
line, but about 10 feet further away and uphill!

But seriously, I really think this stuff can be overdone.  Rohn's spec is 
probably unattainable by most of us, and on 90 percent of ham sites highly 
precise means are probably a waste of time.
