Silver Plated PL-259s with Teflon insulation! The silver connectors solder very well with only a minimal amount of heat required to do the job. In other words, you don't have to cook your connector to get the solder to flow! I get all of mine at HRO! You can also get them from CableXperts and Universal Radio.

Radio Shack is a BAD place to get connectors!

With all this chat about PL-259 vs. N, I thought it might
be nice to be practical for a moment. Many of us use PL-259s
95 to 100% of the time, so the questions would be:

what types/brands are "good" PL-259s?
what are bad ones to avoid?
and of course, what are good places to get good ones? ;-)
