The pictures are clearly of long term charring - not short
term "flashing". The damage is much more like running extended
AM or RTTY at power levels above the design specification of the
antenna or operation well off frequency - e.g. MARS operation
into an antenna configured for the Amateur bands using a "tuner".
Again, there is nothing in any of the pictures which would even
suggest a "flash over" - particularly on the *outside* which would
be most exposed to lightning.

Do you think it is from lightning?
No, it looks like long term arcing.

This is for my 75m dipole . As one can see 75 m is not working ! Do you
think it is from lightning?
It is from a W9INN 40 75 160 m antenna. I need one any one have a
extra ??
Any way I can not climb any more and the antenna is on the side of the
tower. I had the end let down and trap removed .
