I have a medium small compact tractor, Kubota 39 PTO HP and 4x4 with a 
FEL.  I have pallet forks I can swap for the bucket.  It is rated for 
1500 lbs on the forks. I down rate the forks and use an extension to get 
more height. It could pick up 1000 lbs above the 10 ft point.
Most owners of such equipment would likely help you for little money.  I 
have done it several times for free.
