Me, too. I also bought a couple of the Pro-Search controllers
when they first came out. I tested them when I received them
on an indoor rotator (bench mounted Tail-Twister) and they both
worked fine. But I never put them into service. A couple of years
went by and then I decided to test them again on the same
Tail-Twister before I installed them. And neither one worked this
time on the same rotator (which still worked fine with its own
controller).

Apparently they "died" while sitting on the shelf. The factory
was not very helpful--suggesting that since they were out of
warranty that I should send them back and they would charge
me a significant portion of their new price to "repair" them.
(More than 50% of the original price.)

I declined.

But then I did use some tri-chloro-ethane to clean off
the paint that was obscuring the part numbers on the ICs.
But life got in the way and I never got back to the project
and the controllers are still sitting on the shelf--waiting for
time and more information.

Needless to say, I was disappointed with the controllers and
even more so with the lack of factory support.

Any info that might be available would certainly be appreciated
by me--as I now hope to be able to repair them and put them
into service--FINALLY.

Thanks--John WØUN
