Is the BA-8 that much different than the BA-58's?
The '58 does decouple the feed line from the vertical dipole arrays by my
field observation, and that is why I use them. The routing on the feed line
is:
Dipole feed point
BA-58 balun
RG-8X feed line routed to parasitic (reflector) element guy point
follow guy rope to ground
connect to RG-213
