Satellite sled mounts are used mainly on flat roofs only. I have done one that
was a saddle over a peak roof. Mainly used for fairly small dish size although
I have seen a couple in the 6-8ft range.

Hello Norm

You should probably be looking for another way to mount your antennas. No
roofer that's any good will tell you to cut holes in a roof that does not leak.
He knows that if a roof is going to leak it will be at a penetration or a
valley. If he does the work he also has to stand behind it and fix it if it
does
leak. The way it works is the least number of penetrations = the least number
of
leaks or problems. Now every roof has some penetrations, but  it still works
the
same way. JMHO. Good luck.

Hi all!
Had a nice conversation with a roofing contractor today. He was quite down on
the idea of poking any holes through the roofing material due to the amount of
rain at the property (in central florida).
What should I be looking for to properly install ( other than rtfm) and more
importantly waterproof the installation so that ingress damage can't happen.
Thanks,
Norm
