You can easily design a 2el monoband yagi with 50 ohms impedance and
reasonable gain. Trying to design one for multiple frequencies using a
fixed boom length is more of a challenge. I always focus my designs on gain
first and then SWR and F/B. If you really want good F/B you'll have to add
another element to your beam.

I need to come up with some dimensions for 2-element yagis for 20-10M.
I wish to maximize ability to hear weak signals. Does that mean
optimizing f/b ratio, rather than gain? This will be assembled from
SteppIR components that I have on hand, so dimensions can be optimized
for each frequency once a boom length is chosen.
