The red & white paint is for aircraft warning required over 200' so
you don't need to use it.
Since the tower has been hot-dipped galvanized, the best thing to do
is to put another coating of galvanizing. You can use cold galv spray paint
or buy it by the gallon.
If you want some other color, latex outdoor house paint works FB. The
color's up to you. Whatever the color it'll probably be a conversation
piece and a topic for your neighbors to talk about. (Whatever color it is
they're not going to like it anyway.)
But since it's in very good condition, why bother at all? The factory
galvanized coating will last 25 years or more. Then you can think about an
additional coating.
