shim. I'll give this serious consideration. It makes sense. Don is there any
preferred alu stock vendors in AB that you've dealt with? I fear my junk pile

Not to answer your question directly, but if it were me I'd forget about
swaging anything and just shim it. And I have done so on several
occasions. Worked out fine.
