I worked with a truck driver who was caught lifting (stealing) solvents from
work.....it was Toluene he was lifting....
He also had a bandana he always seemed to have wrapped around his
hand.....boy was I nieve then........
He was a "huffer" - someone who sniffs/inhales to get a high............one
of my daughters also had a friend who was into this, he was brain dead....a
15 year old with a six year old's brain....this kid liked butane in the
past....they think.
Most of these things that give you a high also give you dead brain cells, big
time.
Years later looking back on this guy, who died driving trucks for a
competitor a few years later, he was addicted to the buzz from the fumes of
the Toluene.
My advise to anyone is to please ONLY use this stuff in an open air
environment, and for god sake don't use it on the tower, or just before you
climb!
