These are the WRONG Preformed grips for tower applications. Utility
usage is usually for short runs and non-tensioned applications. They are NOT
suitable for EHS tensioned tower use.

There are up to 7 grades of cable for a size with different lays, yield
strengths and compositions. EHS is just one of those cables and has its own
standards. In addition, the utility preforms are shorter than the EHS
versions and may be the wrong lay for EHS.

The LXC Prime Directive is to "do what the manufacturer says". Both Rohn
and Preformed Line Products are very specific on appropriate hardware,
specifications and applications. DO NOT violate their, or any other
manufacturer's, specs.
