Bill,
One suggestion - if he goes with this setup, make sure he runs the coaxial
cable feed down the centre of the tower right to the ground.
In that way, some of the residual radiation that occurs from the AV640
feedline will not interfere with the radiation pattern.
If at all possible, he should also attempt to put some thin builders line
guys on the antenna just below the lowest trap to ensure long term
structural integrity..
