Telrex tribanders like the TB6EM have traps on the driven and director elements. These traps have a stainless screw at each end which appears to secure the trap to the aluminum element tubing at each end of the trap. Yet when the screws (2) are removed, the trap can not be separated from the tubing. Did Telrex construct their antennas so the trap cannot be removed or I am missing how to do it?
