I don’t think you will hear any damage reports from Oregon or Washington, the
Santa Ana effect is not something we see up here. We have our bad winter storms
coming off the Pacific but damage is generally limited to coast areas which do
not have the population centers like California does. I live in the Columbia
River Gorge which has some of the highest average sustained winds in the NW and
we did not even get a puff when California was getting damaged. 73’s
