The only difference in the signal level at the DX location will be the added 
feedline loss of option B due to the slightly higher SWR. Obviously that 
depends on the frequency and the type of feedline. In any practical setup you 
would never detect a difference.

Otherwise, a good SWR is only important when transferring power from your 
source, the transmitter, into the feedline. If the transmitter will deliver 
the desired power into the feedline Z present at the transmitter end, and the 
feedline is rated to handle the peak voltage of the standing wave then there 
is no problem.
