Well, a loaded mobile antenna usually has only one coil. With a trapped
antenna, the trap closest to the feedpoint is the highest frequency
trap. So self-resonance in a trapped antenna is turned into an advantage
rather than a disadvantage. Note that traps and loading coils are different
functions.
