I've had a 18 x 32 tribander mounted on a utility pole for a few years. I use
a Tessco DB365W as a mounting bracket for the mast below the rotator with
excellent success, even withstood Hurricane Irene last August. Only costs less
than $100 and is designed to mount mast from 1-1/4 to 3-1/2 mast and it's
galvanized.
