Hi Bill I can relate to that. Rohn 65 is Varsity tower, the 20" rung step ,
and climbing over the 1032 tic rings add another challenge to this 64 year old
guy. But let's be honest here, if you live a sedentary type life, running out
and buying a fall arrest harness and trying to scamper up you tower my not be a
good idea.But keeping your self in descent shape and have the ability to exert
your self with out causing harm,, I say go for it. I meet W6AM at dayton years
ago and commented on him climbing and maintain his towers and poles supporting
the rhombic antennas... His reply .. Keeps me young, I my self hope to be
able to climb and do regular repairs as He did in his 80's 73 Wayne W3EA
