I bought a tower with an attached house once. I probably paid too much, but
I really liked the idea of neighbors that were already used to ham radio.
We never broke out what I was paying for the tower and what for the house,
it was all one price. When selling I always left the tower up and made it
very clear I would remove the tower if that is what the buyer wanted. I've
taken two down and left two up.....

When I sold my place, I gave away the tower and had the protrusions
above the concrete
cut off with a torch. Then I stuck a $15 kettle barby on the concrete
pier. No problem !!

ps: the tower was 25 years old and not worth a hoot.
