I bought some 7/8" heliax that was damaged in shipping. It has some kinks/dents in the runs and some cuts & tears in the outer jacket. I'm planning to use this for long runs (250') at 7 - 28 mhz. Assuming the cuts & tears in the outer jacket are sufficiently resealed, how critical are the kinks and dents at these frequencies?
