This article includes a bit of history of the beginning of UHF TV broadcasting in the early 1950s: https://onmilwaukee.com/articles/hilton-rooftop-antenna The tower was installed long after the building was constructed. One has to wonder if additional structural support was added to the building's roof in order to support this very heavy structure.
