For self support lightweight towers, I typically buy the Valmont broadband
towers. They are solid rod. I have bought a heavier duty 80-ft Saber solid
rod tower that is very sturdy, but their regular product line is tube leg and
for commercial work I don't like tube legs over 40ft because I can't see if
there is rust inside (can't get away from Rohn 25's of course). I have seen
the Trylon 60ft SS, it was ok, but I have also seen one not installed correctly
and was straight at the bottom but not plumb at the top - not something I want
to be responsible for.
I'm curious how the ANW compares to the Valmont Broadband series, anyone know?
