Terry,
The 402BA manual says the linear loading assemblies for each DE half are
approximately 91 1/2" of 1/8" rod.

The DE is tapered in 5 segments.

DE1 is 1 1/4" X 100 1/16" measured from the center of the boom. The actual
piece supplied is 98 1`/2" long. The element to boom mount, center insulator
and half the boom diameter make it total 100 1/16"

DE2 1" X 30" and extends 27" from the end of DE1

DE3 7/8" X 55" and extends 52" from the end of DE2

DE4 5/8" X 26" and extends 21" from DE3

DE5 7/16" X 55" and extends 49" for low CW, 39" for high phone, or 31" for
phone

Hope this helps
73, Bob, W5AH

All,

I am looking for the driven element length and the linear loading length for
a Hy-Gain 402BA.
