An anti-bird technique that has been PROVEN to work 
(at least in orchard trees) is to play recordings
of bird "distress calls".  My neighbor who owns an
orchard says this is 100% effective for him.
Not sure if a speaker on the antenna would be loud
enough for the bird without annoying your neighbors.
