Thanks to JDB for posting his comments regarding tower construction.
It's always great to have a professional perspective.
But his comment above is not quite correct. The manufacturer,
Preformed Line Products, allows two removals; i.e. install, remove, install,
remove, install. The reason for this is that some of the grit inside the grip
comes off when you install it. If the grip has been installed more than 6
months, once it's removed - you can't reuse it.
