Also, the AlphaSpid RAK and Big RAK allow you to put the rotator pretty much wherever you want in the tower, generally the lower the better.

Additionally, instead of the pin base plate, you can run another section out of the bottom of the RAK/Big RAK and then terminate the mast at a base plate somewhere further down the mast thus transferring all the torque to a point much lower in the tower.

But even as I type this, I think I remember this being a crank down tower situation....  If so....

shaper rotators.  But as was mentioned, the motor will stick outside the
tower.  Now, the Alpha Spid has a tube mount and requires a pin base to sit
on.  A heavy galvanized pin mount is available that is drilled to bolt to
Rohn AS25G shelf.  The mast tube is heavy duty and features 8 bolt
locations.
