After exhaustive research and many many replies regarding
nicopress cable swaging, I think I may plunge and buy
their swag tool for 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 cable.

Before I do, I was wondering about other folks here who
have crank up towers who would be interested in having me
make up cable assemblies for far less than what a
manufacturer would charge.

For example, a friend of mine was quoted $85 before
shipping for one cable assembly from US Tower for a
TX-438. About 44ft of 1/4 7x19 galvanized aircraft cable.
Not sure of prices yet if I do this, but I think I would
do it for about $35-$40 plus shipping.

Assembly would be in accordance with the Nicopress
instructions and each crimp checked with their gauge. I
would only use zinc plated copper nicopress sleeves as
stainless requires the use of a pneumatic or hydraulic
press on 1/4 inch cable.
Although assembly would be in accordance with their
instructions, I would also require a signed waiver of
liability for my own protection.

Anyone who may be interested in something like this please
let me know.

Thanks
Greg
