I suppose one can argue both sides of the PSK31 fence... depending on who you
talk to PSK31 is capable of indicateing both sub-SSB quality paths and not. The
beauty of The BEACONet Project experiments (PropNET and CU2QSO) is that they
enhance traditional modes of communication by indicating something that may have
otherwise escaped the notice of other participants.

PropNET^31 (PSK31-based) and PropNET.25 (AX.25-based) participants probe the
ether for openings 24/7/365...awaiting that opportunity that may pass others
by. CU2QSO (and the assistend Cu2QSO) lies-in-wait for elusive contest Rovers.

There will always be advantages and disadvantages to each. As said before, the
beauty is that the technologies presented by The BEACONet Project augment (not
replace) the hobby's Contesting, DX chasing and general communication operation.
