KC0LBT and W0AMT will be out running around the Minnesota and Wisconsin
countryside again in the W0AMT rover mobile. Thanks to the loan of 902 and
2304 transverter's from Gary, W0GHZ we will have 7 bands this trip. 6 meters
thru 2304 with good power and pretty long beams for all bands except the 6
meter loop. We sacrificed 6 meter performance for maximum performance on
2304. The 2304 looper is at 12 feet and the 6 meter loop is at 8 feet, gotta
maximize those microwave Q's. We have 5 foot M2 beams for 902 and 1296,
they are at about 11 feet on a cross boom. 432, 222 and 2 meters is the
usual assortment of 8-9 foot beams. We also have a pair of 2 meter loops
stacked at 11 and 7 feet, they should play pretty well while mobile. We will
be CQ'ing mostly on 144.240 and occasionally on 50.140 trolling for openings.
We will have the voice keyer running pretty hard to help people find us. We
will also have the ability to run JT44 on 6 meters if needed.
So look for us up on 144.240, if we are not there we will be on 222.140, 432.140
or
50.140. We will use .100 or .105 for the high band q's

EN25 5:15pm to 6:45pm, near Howard Lake, MN
EN35 7:30pm to 10:00pm, West of Mpls someplace.....
10 grids with pretty long stops and generous travel times. Barring any big
problems along the way we should be able to stay right on schedule.
