Beware the RFI caused by the Honda EU1000 series generators.
Even with nothing plugged in, mine is a real "jammer" on 6 & 2 meters.
The internal inverter which so nicely preserves 60Hz output
even when the AC load (& hence engine speed) is light seems
to be the culprit.  Acoustically quiet...yes, but unuseable if you plan
to listen on the lower bands.  Maybe there are other models without
the AC inverter which are better.

I would also be very suspect of any/all switching supplies, unless
you plan to seal them up with RFI filters.  Perhaps you should
only key them up while your transmitting, assuming you don't
need the associated voltages on receive.
