So Tuesday is Christmas eve. Beating the band for QSOs does not seem
like a good way to spend Christmas eve, when we could be more involved
tucking grand kids to bed and then helping to assemble all of Santa's
put together toy gifts in time for dumping them under the tree! I
checked with the 222 MHz Activity Committee and they concur. Christmas
eve is a special time for family and little ones. I am getting a few
inches of snow on Tuesday and the temps are moderating a bit. It has
been brutally cold down to close to zero here, and I am not even in a
valley with radiational cooling. It looks like next Tuesday is New
Years eve, but what better time to be on 222 than the approach of a new
year. In the tradition of Steve, K1FO, I am planning to be active on the
222 MHz New Years Eve party next Tuesday. I will have some nice egg-nog
prepared and am hoping I can make it up to the shack. CU then!
