OK, here's an update and last plea for awhile. 1. I -can- use various -PCM- compression formats. 2. I have Windows Media Player 7.x installed/working, and MPEG Layer-3 shows as a choice when I'm setting up compression. However, after I set it and save it as "CW" and get out of that window, when I come back, it's changed and just says MP3. Using this doesn't compress at all and saves in the full PCM format. Why can't I use MPEG Layer-3? |
