[WriteLog] How do I use MMTTY TNC emulation with Writelog

I am trying to do SO2R in the following way:

-1st radio: WriteLog with the MMTTY plug-in. This works fine

-2nd radio: Writelog using MMTTYin TNC emulation mode ( MMTTY running  on a 
separate PC) . This does *not* work for me. 

I configured the MMTTY TNC emulation to behave like a KAM, but when I try to 
start up the TNC, Writelog tries to initialize Host Mode and gets stuck.

The second PC (running MMTTY TNC emulation)  talks to the Writelog PC using a 
null modem cable.I know the cable is working OK because I successfully tried to 
control the MMTTY TNC emulation using Hyperterminal. 

My Question: Has anyone successfully tried this and if so, can you please give 
me some helpful advice?
