Trying to control ICOM 7851 radio using Writelog Version 12.20d.
Running Windows 10.
Attempting set up , get error message after doing the following...
Open Writelog log/ set up /ports
Select com port 3 , specify Icom 7851
Get error message "Comm port com 3 : not available. The system cannot find
the file specified"
Trying ANY of the other ports (and specifying Icom 7851) results in same
error message.
Icom 7851 turned ON and NOT in memory mode when attempting set up.
Downloaded a trial version of HRD and successfully controlled radio using
comm port 3.
Don't know what I'm doing wrong?
Any help greatly appreciated.
