If you need to edit a .wav file (to remove extraneous sounds for example), there is a program called GoldWave which lets you see the file displayed graphically and you can edit it however you want. Cut parts out, fade in/fade out, increase or decrease volume, etc. It is shareware, available at www.goldwave.com. There are probably others, but I've used this one extensivley and recommend it highly. The usual disclaimers apply. 73, Bill W7TI |
