I have been using WL since 1999 (not sure what version that was). My CW always
defaults on start-up to the value that is in the first box of the second row of
the CW Speeds Dialog.
What device are you using to do the CW keying? Perhaps it is not being
commanded correctly on startup. I have been using the W5XD Keyer and now the
MicroHam MK2R+.
