It is possible to get multiple writelog.ini files in various directories on
your machine, especially if you make an error during installing new WL
versions, editing and saving, etc... (don't ask me how I know)...

Do a search on your C: drive for writelog.ini and delete the ini files that
are not in the right directory.

I kept editing the wrong one and couldn't understand why my cut-numbers and
auto-save weren't working...

The latest versions of WriteLog conveniently put a link to the active
writelog.ini file in the WriteLog startup folder: 'Edit WriteLog.ini'. This
avoids having to remember where a given version of Windows stores the active
writelog.ini file.

In Vista and Windows 7, though, the writelog.ini file should be exactly
where you were looking for it in the path below. Windows automatically
creates the AppData directory when the first application is installed by
User 'Bob'. What user account installed WriteLog on this computer? That's
where you'll find writelog.ini.
