You really want to use Audacity or similar. Editing w/ Audacity is MUCH better
& easier than with Sound Recorder.

I did the same, years ago. It worked for years; then Microsoft stopped
supporting Windows Sound Recorder. which I had used to record the initial
recording of all sounds before separating it into separate .wav files. That
meant that editing/updating now became a big deal as WSR was not totally
compatible with aftermarket sound editors. I finally had to stop using my
perfect library. I lost interest in SSB contesting after that. Garry, NI6T
