Now the next issue I found with those interfaces is with the RTS, when it is
held hi makes the thing not work... OK, now it looks like I have to find
the way to turn off the RTS under Writelog then.
I've been pounding through these different interfaces and software packages
for the last couple days, all their help files are starting to mush
together.

In searching for "DTR" in the help file, the first thing that
comes up is the "Rig Interfacing" section, which states:
WriteLog asserts RTS (pin 4) and DTR (pin 20) on the rig port
unless you have also configured the Port Setup to send CW and
do rig control on the same port, in which case the DTR/RTS
lines are used to send CW.
