Never mind. This was being caused because the radio is controlled by Ham
Radio Deluxe and it feeds the info to WL as a Kenwood - the station is run
remote over the internet hence the need for HRD. I will try TRX manager and
see if it doesn't have the problem (I don't think it will).

This weekend, I found a problem grabbing a spot of a station that is
operating split. Rig is IC7800. The grab sends the radio to the spotted
station's receive frequency and does not set split and the TX frequency.
On the second radio in the station - an IC746 - it sets the radio as it
should - RX on the spotted station's TX and TX on their RX. Any fix?
Does the 7700 act the same? (I am thinking no because it has a more
"standard" A/B vfo set-up).
