> There's no way I know of to see what's in the TQ8 file. When you get to the "Export as Trusted QSL" dialog there is a "Create compressed file" button in the lower right. If you turn that check box OFF, it changes the file extension to .TQ7 and writes a file that you can read with a text editor. If I remember correctly, the LOTW website accepts TQ7 files as well.
