Sorry guys, This is another one of those ports, setup questions again.
T put it simply, I want rig control and am going need help with IRQ,
port availability issues. I'm thinking an Entrega USB hub may be my
answer?
System is AMD 500 MHz. Radio is Icom 756
No serial port two, checked bios... no listing for it!
Com1=Packet (external KAM plus for rtty and packet)
Mouse=PS/2
Lpt1= CW rig keying
Lpt2=HP 600 officejet (all-in-one type unit)
USB1=scanner
USB2=OPEN!!!!
Sound card is on motherboard and is wired for PSK, etc.
Internal CDRW and IOMEGA 100MB Zip drive
Okay, IRQ's 00 through 15 are used except looks like 03 is available.
Nothing listed for it. THat may have been my modem which was removed
cause I use an ethernet card to a external cable modem (@home.com)
Well, can I move some of these things to an Entrega hub and run a CT-17
type interface to get my rig going? Logging is DX4WIN 4.07 and
Writelog 10.?, whatever was the newest version. Also use Digipan for
PSK.
