All,
I started out with separate ini files for each contest and general qsos. I
still keep contests seperate - just because I may do some tailoring,
colors, time on band map etc.
But I now find that I can use just one ini file which I save as
DXCC_qso.ini and reload it as desired. This ini runs rtty, cw and ssb
simply by changing the mode from a spot, or at the rig frequency/mode, or
on the rig itself. All three modes work (except occasionally the "echo
Microphone" gets lost). This General Purpose writelog.ini is very useful
when band/mode hopping chasing that illusive DX (VP8GEO for example)
I am initializing each contest now from the general qso ini and then tailoring.
